In cooperation with the “Leros Research & Rescue Team”, our company has recently installed an Automated External Defibrillator at our premises to cover the broader area of Partheni of Leros. This defibrillator was purchased by the company “Moor & Dock” in Leros after an initiative of Mr. Gaitanidis Aggelos and Mr. Koumparos Parisis.
This device is the 10th in a row that is placed on the island. We decided to install it outside the main entrance of the boatyard. This way, it is not restricted for the use of the visitors and employees of the business only, but accessible by the public living and working in the surrounding area.
We are now in week 2 of the mandatory lockdown of Greece. Work has thus far been progressing normally. Although a lot of our suppliers have closed or are functioning with minimal staff, work has not ceased thanks to our stock.
Luckily, there have not been any incidences on the island but we are taking our precautions. Our facilities are still closed to the public but we are still available via phone, email, and social media.
