We wish to inform all our friends and customers that the government has issued new measures in light of Greece’s recent case spikes. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that as of 6 am Tuesday, November 3rd, Greece will be divided into two risk zones (from the four at the moment) and that the following measures will be in force for one month:

- Mandatory use of masks in all public spaces (indoors and outdoors).
- Mandatory teleworking for the 50 percent of employees in the private and public sectors; expects some delays with business transactions.
- From Tuesday, the previously imposed curfew will be adjusted from 00:30 – 05:00 (local time) to 00:00 – 05:00. Exemptions for the curfew include anyone in an emergency and those who work during the curfew hours.
- Universities will be required only to operate remotely while all other schools will remain open.
- All public gatherings are banned.
- High-risk zone – Color: RED (previous orange and red areas on the risk-assessment map)
- All measures enforced in the Monitoring zone.
- Suspension of the operation of restaurants (excluding delivery and takeaway services).
- Suspension of the operation of cafes, bars, cinemas, museums, and theaters.

The Greek PM stressed that retail shops, hotels, outdoor archaeological sites, and hairdressers would remain open until further notice.
